We are capable of designing, installing and maintaining basic to complex integrated solutions. We are equally capable of maintaining our installations for years to come. Where our client specifications require specific functionality, we develop dedicated hardware and software products to meet these specific needs. Documentation including, As Build and User Manuals, are our strong points. We have several flagship installations to backup these statements.

We never use substandard components or installation techniques. Those we cannot buy, we make. This includes faceplates, mounting boxes/ brackets we use in the installation of our systems. If it does not function well and it does not look good, we do not use it.

We have installed and maintain some of the largest installations in South Africa, Swaziland and Sudan.

- iMelt, a program that automate student registration for the access control systems at the universities.
- Automated Breathalyzer testers that are integrated into the access control system.
MMD Technologies was established in 1994. The founder and managing director of MMD Technologies is Peet Calitz who is still actively involved with installations, maintenance and development of new products. He takes pride in his work has a passion for people and dislikes poor products and installations.
